Male Bonding - Nothing Hurts

Twenty-eight minutes of pure noise-pop bliss can best describe Male Bonding’s first full length album Nothing Hurts. Nothing Hurts is filled with fast tempos, catchy riffs, and loud abrasive in-your-face sound. This album may not set Male Bonding apart from typical noise-pop bands such as Dinosaur Jr., The Pixies, or Xiu Xiu, but it does show case their talent. It is within their use of percussion to create a metallic sound, their shredding guitars, and thick baselines Male Bonding gave to the listener’s ears a frantic ride as they play each track. If you wish to experience an energetic, slightly spastic record – lend Nothing Hurts a play and in no time you will have it on repeat.

Must listen to track: “T.U.F.F.”

  2. and I would argue that the percussion creates somekind of mettalic sound. It's typical fast paced punkish beat ; )

  3. There's heavy use of cymbals, it's what seems to burst out over everything before the actually drum pattern is known
